NOHO — Starting Tuesday, Bar Primi will be open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. The new many includes many of the same pastas offered at dinner, including rigatoni with eggplant and orecchiette with sausage, chickpeas, and broccolie rabe. There's also that roast beef sandwich, a portobello melt, and a grilled fish of the day. Check out the full menu below. [EaterWire]

THE SHUTTER — The original SushiSamba in Gramercy will close at the end of the month. Grub Street reports that the 15 year-old restaurant is serving a "throwback menu" until the end of the month, and on Wednesdays will offer a 25 percent discount on bottles of wine and sake. The West Village outpost of the Peruvian/Brazilian/Japanese fusion restaurant is still open, as are it's many international offshoots. [GS]

WEEK IN REVIEWS — Bill Addison files on Chez Panisse, Alice Waters' iconic Berkeley restaurant, over on Eater National. He dines at both the downstairs dining room and the more casual upstairs cafe, and finds one of them much more preferable than the other. [~EN~]
