Gaurav Anand, the chef/owner of stellar UES Indian restaurant Moti Mahal Delux, is expanding to the old Alouette space on the Upper West Side. The new restaurant, Awadh, will specialize in the cuisine of the Awadhi region of northern Indian. John Slover is consulting on the wine list. It's slated to open at the end of this week.
