It looks like the new Manhattan outpost of the hit Bed-Stuy doughnut shop Dough is getting very close to opening now. Brooklyn Magazine notes that the shop just posted an ad on Craigslist for "Doughnut Makers," and is hosting an open call this Thursday. The ad also reveals, for the first time, the exact address of the new location, which is farther east than originally reported, at 14 W 19th Street near Union Square, rather than in Chelsea. It takes over the space formerly occupied by Uncle Moe's Burritos, a well-liked lunch spot that closed late last year.
Co-owner Fany Gerson tells Eater that this is the same location the team has been planning since December, but she had misremembered the neighborhood after her colleagues surprised her with the new location. No word on an opening date just yet, but Gerson says it should be soon.
