Akhtar Nawab's Choza Now Open Inside Gotham West

Yesterday, the team behind taqueria mini-chain Choza opened a new outpost inside game-changing Hell's Kitchen food hall Gotham West Market. Akhtar Nawab, previously of La Esquina and La Cenita, is the chef/partner at this new operation. The menu features nine proteins available as tacos, burritos, bowls, tortas, tostadas, or salads, plus ceviches, tamales, and sides. Choza is also offering daily breakfast, and fresh juices. All of the entrees are priced under $9. It basically looks like Akhtar Nawab's version of Chipotle.

The new Choza stand inhabits the space that formerly housed Caroline Fidanza's Little Chef, which closed back in April. Check out the menu:
