Mole Closes on Allen Street; Le Cirque NYCWFF Dinner

LOWER EAST SIDE — Sadly, it looks like the Allen Street outpost of Mexican mini-chain Mole has closed. A "for rent" sign hangs in the window, and the phone line is no longer in service. The Williamsburg, West Village, and Upper East Side locations are still open, business as usual. [EaterWire]

MIDTOWN EAST — On October, 15, as part of the NYCWFF, Le Cirque will host a special 40th anniversary dinner with food from distinguished alumni Daniel Boulud, David Bouley, and Jacque Torres, and current chef Raphael Francois.
