WINEHigh tech wine extraction device The Coravin has officially been recalled. According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission, there have been 13 reports of wine bottles breaking. The company sent customers "neoprene wine bottle sleeves" to fix the situation, and they will be sending a "remedy kit" to all of the people that purchased the device with this sleeve and a revised set of instructions. The company is expected to begin shipping the devices again next month. [Eater National]

EAST VILLAGEEV Grieve notes that the old JoeDough space is now for rent. When the restaurant closed in February, the owners said that they were going to use the space for their catering wing, JoeDough Catering & Events, but now it looks like they're no longer attached to the storefront. UPDATE: Joe Dobias Tweets: "We are still lease holders at 135. We are assigning it bc we found a commissary." [EV Grieve]
