Fourth of July at Resto; Brooklyn Brewery's Dinner Series

GRAMERCY — On the Fourth of July, Resto will be offering an all-you-can-eat blue crab feast with frites, corn on the cob, salad, beer, and wine for $50 per person. Seating is limited, so email the restaurant if you want a reservation. Meanwhile, Resto's next door sister restaurant The Cannibal will host a "Red, White & Blue Cup" party with kegs and food for $40 at the door. WILLIAMSBURGBrooklyn Brewery is starting a new series called Dinner Party, where the brewery's house chef, Andrew Gerson, will serve a five to seven course menu made with local ingredients, all paired with beer. The series will take place at William Reed's forthcoming restaurant Humboldt & Jackson. For the first dinner, Gerson will team up with Ryan Miller, the product development chef for Momofuku's Kaizen Trading Company & The Culinary Lab, for an $85 meal on July 16. FINANCIAL DISTRICT — The new location of Melt Shop is slated to open tomorrow at 111 Fulton St. The menu will include favorites from the other three locations, plus some new items like a chicken club melt, a vegetable-filled sandwich with goat cheese, and a mozzarella-based creation called "The Big Skinny Melt."
