Gael Greene is charmed by Take Root, the tiny Carroll Gardens tasting menu restaurant from Elise Kornack and Anna Hieronimus. Although Gael doesn't actually give star ratings, she figures out the breakdown: "I'll give Take Root two stars for its romantic back-story and three brilliant dishes, plus a half star for our hosts' graceful dance.
