Big Ang Has Shuttered Her Month-Old Dumbo Bar

Mob Wives star Angela Raiola—aka Big Ang— shuttered her Dumbo bar Brooklyn Monkey earlier this month, just one month after opening it. The Daily News hears that the bar, which sits above Grimaldi's, had suffered some "financial setbacks." Big Ang herself, however, insists that "we're having some little paper problems there, but it's not closing." When the bar opened, Big Ang was hoping "the yuppies and the hipsters" would flock to the place, but apparently they did not. At least part of the problem may have been that the only way to get into the bar was through the pizzeria, which closes before midnight.
