Blenheim, the very new restaurant from Morten Sohlberg and Min Ye in the old Smorgas Chef space on West 12th Street, is temporarily closed. Chef Justin Hilbert, formerly of Gwynnett St., is no longer with the restaurant, and it's unclear when Blenheim will make its return. Here's the statement from the management:

From the Blenheim team:

Due to irreconcilable differences, the Blenheim team has parted ways with Chef Justin Hilbert, and wishes him the best in his next endeavor. The owners, Morten Sohlberg and Min Ye, and the management team, are currently in discussions with chef candidates...During this transitional period, the restaurant will be closed, but is anticipating reopening shortly.
The restaurant was generating some decent buzz, although The Infatuation team had a horrible experience there last week. Blenheim opened less than a month ago.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
