Fedora's Madani Halal Dinner; Mast Brothers Expand

WEST VILLAGE — Fedora chef Mehdi Brunet-Benkritly is teaming up with Madani Halal, one of the restaurant's meat purveyors, to serve a multi-course dinner on June 10. The meal will feature many of the butcher's offerings, with dishes like duck liver mousse croquettes, lamb tongue and gizzard salad, and pheasant consomme ramen. MIDTOWN — Breads Bakery is one of the new vendors coming to Broadway Bites, the seasonal outdoor food market opening tomorrow at Greeley Square. Unlike all the other vendors, however, Breads will open its booth at 9 a.m. instead of 11 a.m., and plans to serve both coffee and pastries. [EaterWire]

EXPANSIONS — Brooklyn chocolate experts the Mast Brothers are planning to open a new outpost of their bean-to-bar chocolate factory in London. The brothers, who also have factories/retail shops in Williamsburg and the Navy Yard, say they hope the London spot will help them stand out to European buyers. [Inc.]
