EMM Is Ready to Launch The Brickwood in the MePa

You knew that it wouldn't be long before the EMM Group figured out what to do with their former SL lounge space beneath their new restaurant, La Cenita Steak, which they quietly shuttered after a four-year run in January 2014. After a few months of renovations, partners Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum are ready to open the doors once again to their new concept, The Brickwood.

The lounge has been holding some very quiet preview nights and will officially throw open its doors starting tonight. If the semi-NSFW photos and videos that they are posting (here and here) are any indication, you can expect a sexy, raucous atmosphere that is just a bit different than the normal EDM club scene that has taken over New York City.
