GOWANUS — The backyard at The Pines is reopening on May 9. John Poiarkoff will serve a menu of casual dishes, including house-made kielbasa with ramp kimchi, blistered shishito peppers, lobster rolls, and house-made popsicles. The backyard is open Fridays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Drinks specials will be offered on opening day this Friday. [EaterWire]

WEST VILLAGEPagani is cooking ramps sourced from a farm owned by restaurateur Massimo Lusardi's family. Specials include ramps with poached eggs and guanciale, linguine with ramps and breadcrumbs, and black pepper-crusted skate wing with ramps and potatoes. [EaterWire]
