Is New York City Ready for the Return of Joël Robuchon?

Two years after the closure of L'Atelier, it sounds like legendary French chef Joël Robuchon is getting ready to make his big return to the New York scene. Back in October, the chef told Zagat that he was looking at space in Midtown for "a L'Atelier that opens to the street," somewhere around Fifth Avenue and 47th Street. And last night, Nation's Restaurant News writer Bret Thorn tweeted: "Best intel from Chefs' Night Out: Robuchon's coming back to NYC." Although Joël has not made any official announcement yet, clearly, he's got something in the works and he's talking to people about it.
