Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the city: 1) Best of the West
When: Tonight at 7 p.m.
Where: Columbus Avenue between W.76th and W.77th Streets
What: This culinary event celebrates chefs of the West Side. Some of the participating chefs include Jean-Georges, Jacques Torres, and John Fraser of Dovetail, with Daniel Boulud as the special honoree of the evening. Tickets cost $135 and include all food and drink. 2) Taste of Ethiopia
When: Sunday, 1 p.m.
Where: Bati
What: This Ethiopian brunch will be serving dishes like berbere stewed split lentils, beef tongue pieces sautéed in a blend of spices, and finely chopped collard greens seasoned with garlic and ginger. The meal costs $33 and there will be a cash bar for drinks. More than half the menu is vegan, so this is a good spot for those with dietary restrictions.
3) LES DayLife
When: Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Orchard Street between Delancey and Houston Streets
What: Check out this outdoor fair on the LES featuring music, shopping and plenty of food from local restaurants like Mission Cantina, The Meatball Shop and Souvlaki GR. Admission is free, but the food is not. 4) Sycamore Bar's Fifth Annual Crawfish Boil
When:Saturday, 1 p.m.
Where: Sycamore Bar
What: Sycamore Bar and Flower Shop is hosting a crawfish boil this Saturday. $25 gets you a pint of Abita beer and a bucket of crawfish. There will be seatings at at 1, 3, and 5 p.m. and you need at ticket to get in.

When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: New Amsterdam Market
What: One of the best outdoor markets opens today for its summer season. Try lobster rolls from Luke's Lobster, cheese from Jasper Hill Farm, and cider from Aaron Burr. A fell vendor list and schedule of events is available on the market's official website.
