Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the city:
1) Maison Premiere's Derby Party
When: Today, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Maison Premiere
What: The Derby party at Maison Premiere is pretty hard to beat: live music, a radio broadcast of the race, an entire menu of juleps, and food specials from chef Lisa Giffen. Even though the party ends at 8 p.m., the bar will be open until 4 a.m, in case festivities continue late into the night.

2) Brunch at Má Pêche
When: Today
Where: Má Pêche
What: Má Pêche is starting up brunch service this Saturday. The fancy new dim sum carts are being used for brunch too: there's one for breakfast pastries, another for bloody Marys, and one for biscuits with gravy or grits. Other brunch dishes like chicken and waffles, shrimp hash, and breakfast noodles with chorizo and poached egg are also on the menu.
3) Txikifest '14
When: Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Txikito
What: Txakoli, the crisp, slightly sparkling wine from the Basque country is the focus of Txikifest an event held in the alley behind Txikito. There will be plenty of tapas to go with the wine from restaurants like Kuma Inn, Cucharamama, and Txikito's sibling restaurants La Vara and El Quinto Pino. Tickets cost $50, for all you can eat and drink. The proceeds go to benefit Edible Schoolyard.
4) Crawfish Boil
When: Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Extra Fancy
What: $25 will buy you a can of Brooklyn Summer Ale and all the crawfish you can eat at Extra Fancy this Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online. Additional Summer Ales will only cost $3 a pop. 
5) Derby Party at Mable's Smokehouse
When: Today, 2 p.m.
Where: Mable's Smokehouse
What: Mable's Smokehouse is bringing some serious Derby party game, which is not surprising considering one of the owners is from Louisville. Be sure to try a julep and some derby pie.
