In this week's Hungry City review, Ligaya Mishan visits Spicy Lanka, a new Sri Lankan restaurant in Queens. The menu is hard to navigate, but she loves the pittu, "squat columns of roasted rice flour, steamed with pandan leaves and adorned with icing-white curls of coconut," which are meant to be mashed and mixed with curry.
