FLATIRON — George Mendes is hosting three Portuguese chefs at Aldea to cook a five course meal on June 10 in honor of Portugal Day, which celebrates Portugal's independence. Rui Correia of Douro in Connecticut, Pedro Lemos of the eponymous restaurant in Portugal, and David Santos of Louro will all join Mendes to cook the dinner, which is $155, including wine pairings and passed canapés to start.
