New details have emerged on the dining venues planned for the Beekman Hotel, where both Keith McNally and Tom Colicchio are rumored to be opening restaurants. The hotel/condo, which is being built in the beautiful but crumbling Temple Court building by the developers behind the Ace Hotel and The NoMad Hotel, will contain two street-level restaurants, plus a downstairs lounge and four private event spaces. Such plans mean that it's entirely possible that the hotel could contain the rumored chophouse from McNally, and maybe even a new Tom Colicchio project. The restaurateurs have not commented on the rumors yet.
The new restaurants will most likely retain the period details of the historic space. More details on the 5 Beekman restaurants as they become available, and if you hear anything about this project, you know where to send those tips.
