While work is still underway at Barcade's first Manhattan outpost in Chelsea, the team is now planning another location of the beer bar and video game parlor on St. Mark's Place. Owner Paul Kermizian has taken over the ground floor of the space that once held the massive music store and movie rental spot Mondo Kim's, and his liquor license application will be up for approval at the June Community Board 3 meeting. No word yet on whether this outpost, like the one in Chelsea, will also have a full kitchen serving "nice pub food". Meanwhile, according to Gothamist, that long-in-the-works Chelsea outpost should finally open in the next few weeks.
