ReBar employees who are now job-less after owner Jason Stevens shuttered the place and took off don't have much legal recourse in the matter. As the Brooklyn Paper explains, New York is an at-will employment state, which means that employers are allowed to fire workers at any time without giving a reason why. ReBar employees do, however, have a right to their last paycheck. [BP]
