LOWER EAST SIDE — Contra is hosting two guest chefs from Copenhagen in June and July. First Kristian Baumann of Restaurant 1th (and soon Noma) will cook meals on June 10 and 11, then Jonathan Tam of Relae will serve dinners on July 9 and 10. RED HOOK — Early tickets to Pig Island, the annual end-of-summer pork fest just went on sale for $65 each. The event takes place on September 6 in East River Basin Park, and involves 80 whole hogs cooked by various chefs. EAST VILLAGE — Au Za'atar launches brunch this weekend. The menu includes shakshuka, kafta benedict, and something called the "Au Za'atar breakfast," which comes with hummus, falafel, chopped salad, eggs, harissa, and za'atar pita.
