In this week's Hungry City column, Ligaya Mishan reviews Eim Khao Mun Kai and Khao Man Gai NY, two Queens businesses serving the same Thai dish of chicken fat rice and poached chicken. The latter is "less punchy," but "the white meat is silkier; the jasmine rice is looser and perfumed with pandan leaves, with only a hint of chicken fat." [NYT]
