dohletters49.jpgCouncilman Vincent Ignizio of Staten Island has drafted a new bill which would require Health Department inspectors to wear a video camera while inspecting restaurants. The bill proposes a one year pilot program, during which 10 percent of all restaurant inspections would be filmed. The hope is that it would provide more concrete evidence for restaurateurs who want to challenge their DOH grade. [Crain's]
