Black Seed, the wood-fired bagel shop currently in the works from Mile End's Noah Bernamoff and Matt Kliegman of The Smile, has just landed a second location in Brookfield Place. The duo will join the ranks of Umami Burger, Mighty Quinn's, Num Pang, Blue Ribbon Sushi, and others at the highly-anticipated Hudson Eats food hall, which Grub Street now learns is slated to open May 6.

Work is ongoing at the original Black Seed location at 170 Elizabeth Street, but the team plans to be selling wood-fired bagels, smoked fish, and housemade schmears by the end of the month.
