On April 1, New York City's first paid sick leave law went into effect, ensuring that 1.2 million workers, including the large majority of those in the service industry, will receive five days paid sick leave for the first time ever. Some business owners worry about the financial impact, but Bombay Sandwich Company owner Shiv Puri says he's discovered that it "won't bust the bank." [NYT]
