1) Cook with Famous Chefs

Where: International Culinary Center
What: Ever wanted to learn how to cook Thai from Andy Ricker? Or baked goods from Dorie Greenspan? Check out the New York Culinary Experience, a weekend long series classes and lectures. Head to their website for tickets.
2) Harlem Food Truck Rally
When: Today, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Frederick Douglass Blvd between 117th and 118th
What: This Harlem fair features a number of food truck favorites including Luke's Lobster, Wafels & Dinges, and Toum all parked together for your dining convenience. There will be arts and crafts activities for the kids as well.
3) Clear Out Cookbook Sale
When: Today, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Kitchen Arts and Letters
What: The renowned cookbook shop, Kitchen Arts and Letters is having a sale of slightly damaged works. The deal will be today only, and the books will cost between $1 and $10 dollars. If you check in on Facebook you'll get $5 off your first purchase. This spot is known for it's extensive selection, so a little treasure hunting will likely pay off.
4) All Things Chocolate
When: Sunday, 7:30 p.m.
Where: 92nd Street Y
What: This chocolate focused event has everything from eclairs to quinoa hazelnut gianduia. There will also be cheese and booze experts on hand to provide perfect pairings with chocolate. Tickets are $35.
5) Metropolitan Avenue Festival
When: Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where:, 74-29 Metropolitan Avenue, Queens
What: The Metropolitan Avenue Festival gives you the opportunity to check out a less trafficked neighborhood in Queens while sampling some classic Italian dishes. A portion of the fair's funds will go towards newborns and mothers suffering from tetanus.
