Yesterday afternoon, the DOH shuttered Dominique Ansel Bakery after finding evidence of mice on the premises. And this afternoon, the complete results from the inspection were added to the DOH website. The inspector found four sanitary violations inside the Cronut bakery, three of which were deemed "critical." Two of these violations were related to evidence of mice. The restaurant received 43 violation points, total, enough for a "C" grade. In regard to public health hazards, the official DOH website notes: "If the violation can't be corrected before the inspection ends, the Health Department may close the restaurant until it's fixed."
