Tessa, An Upper West Side Mediterranean Restaurant

Last night, restaurateur Larry Bellone and chef Cedric Tovar opened Tessa, a spacious new Mediterranean restaurant on Amsterdam Avenue near West 77th Street. Tessa has a bar on the ground floor and a large dining room upstairs. The menu features a lot of grilled and roasted meats, as well as homemade pastas, salads, and charcuterie items. Appetizers are priced in the low teens, and most of the entrees are in the mid 20s. This looks like it has the potential to be a big hit with the neighbors if the food is good. Check out Tessa:
