A Look at Ilan Hall's Restaurant Inside Urban Outfitters

Space Ninety 8, the Williamsburg Urban Outfitters concept store that will house an outpost of Ilan Hall's LA restaurant The Gorbals, opens to the public today. The restaurant itself won't start serving until May, but Racked has a look around the space and the rest of the massive complex. The menswear section on the third floor opens directly onto a long bar just a few steps up, and above that is the restaurant proper, which includes an open kitchen and lots of wood. There's also a bar on the roof, along with plenty of room for picnic tables, benches, and some crazy tent-like structures.

No word on a menu yet, but Ilan Hall catered the opening party last night with things like bacon-wrapped matzoh balls and deep-fried sweet and sour radishes. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
