@Maryellen Twitter is fine for smearing large corps and I'm sure your goal wasn't to have me apologize; it was to have me fix the problem.

Mile End Deli got into a spat on Twitter this morning with some customers who complained of a credit card mix-up. After noticing a $160 charge on her card for lunch, Amanda Mull asked her friends if they had been charged anything. When one of those friends called Mile End out on a "major goof," the deli replied: "Major? Guys, It's likely an honest error. Email chris@mileenddeli.com for help." That led to an argument over the tone of the tweet, during which Mile End apologized several times, but still stuck to its guns. One of the final tweets reads: "That's fine and I'm sorry. But call me old fashioned, a simple email or call would actually address the issue."
