Huertas, a Basque Restaurant With Passed Pintxos

Here's a look around Huertas, the new East Village Spanish restaurant with passed pintxos and a prix fixe menu. The bar room in the front, where servers carry around trays of tapas "dim sum-style," includes some tall tables and a standing counter. The bar offers not only beer, wine, and Spanish cider, but also vermouth on tap and some "refrescos" cocktails. Farther back is a dining room where Savoy and Gramercy Tavern alum Jonah Miller serves a four-course "menu del dia" of Basque dishes like pork shoulder with spring onion migas and green romesco.
