This week Ligaya Mishan reviews Rosette on the Lower East Side. There she finds Nick Curtin's menu is "more playful than cerebral," with dishes like a fried clam chowder: "small panko-crusted orbs of steamed clams folded into a clam-juice béchamel steeped with celery, shallots and bacon." [NYT]
