Are Friedman & Bloomfield Expanding to Los Angeles?

The Spotted Pig by Krieger

Los Angeles might be getting a new restaurant from Ken Friedman and April Bloomfield. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the restaurateurs have found a space on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice for a new project. Eater has reached out to Friedman, but he has yet to confirm that he and Bloomfield are attached to the space, and a rep for the group has no comment at this time.

Last year, Ken and April opened a wildly popular San Francisco restaurant, Tosca Cafe, and they have another SF project in the works, too. Even if they are expanding to LA, this probably won't be another Spotted Pig, because they don't do clones. More details as they become available.
