Brooklyn's only T.G.I. Fridays, in Sheepshead Bay, has been closed ever since Hurricane Sandy inundated the restaurant with three feet of water. But now, a year and a half later, Brooklynites will finally get their Jack Daniels chicken and green bean fries back when the brand new, completely renovated T.G.I Fridays reopens to the public on May 5.

Inside, the restaurant has been given a "new look and feel," including a "dramatically redesigned bar," which looks quite a bit sleeker than its predecessor. A press release notes that the Brooklyn outpost "is the first of many Fridays restaurants in the NY area to be re-imaged." However, if there's any real selling point for this Fridays, it's the fact that it has a view of the harbor.
