The seasonal food carts returned to The High Line today. For the most part, the offerings are the same as last year. There are are various ice creams, popsicles, and ice cream sandwiches from L'Arte del Gelato, La New Yorkina, People's Pops and Melt Bakery, while Blue Bottle returns with coffee and pastries, and the Taco Truck with tacos, tortas, and other Mexican food. Daniel Delaney's SmokeLine is also back, although with a more streamlined menu than last year. Gone is the fried cheese-topped sandwich, and instead diners get a sandwich, a plate, or a salad bowl with their choice of smoked meat, pickled toppings, and sides.
Meanwhile, Terroir's full-service outdoor cafe on the High Line reopens May 2, and Brooklyn Soda Works returns on June 1.
