Zachary Feldman IN as Village Voice Critic

New, 4 comments

Village Voice editor Tom Finkel has tapped Zachary Feldman to work as the troubled weekly's restaurant critic. Feldman has regularly filed reviews for the Voice over the last year, and he contributes to its Fork in the Road blog frequently. Prior to his time at the Voice, Feldman wrote for Serious Eats and Gridskipper. He also makes small-batch artisan bitters. Follow him @zachats.

The Voice has not had a devoted food writer or critic since Robert Sietsema was unceremoniously shitcanned and Tejal Rao resigned last spring. Sietsema joined the Eater team last May, and Rao is now working for Tasting Table. In other Voice hiring news, Brittany Spanos is now the clubs editor.
