There was another fight at troubled Soho club Greenhouse last weekend. This one allegedly involved two NFL draft prospects, a club promoter and a hookah. According to the Daily News, a club promoter was viciously beaten in the club's VIP room, first getting hit in the face with the water pipe and then getting roughed up by two men. The attack sent the promoter, 28-year-old Michael Haver, to the hospital for surgery. Now the NYPD wants to interview Victor Hampton and Kelcy Quarles, two University of South Carolina seniors who were in New York for a pre-draft event and partying at the club. Following this beating, another former South Carolina player was allegedly stabbed in the shoulder after leaving Greenhouse, where the earlier brawl occurred. The police don't think that the two incidents are related.
This is certainly not the first the brawl or attack to happen at Greenhouse, but it definitely is the first to involve a hookah.
