Is Altamarea Partnering With Richard Gere's B and B?

Rumor has it that Michael White's Altamarea Group has signed a new deal to take over the restaurants at Westchester County's Bedford Post Inn. An inside source tells Eater that Altamarea will close the main restaurant, Farmhouse, for a few weeks in May and reopen it as a new project with an outside grill and a menu from the group's newest hire Devin Bozkaya. Word on the street is that the new version of Farmhouse will be called Compania.

Actor/officer/gentleman Richard Gere is one of the owners of the Bedford Post Inn.

Eater sources whisper that Altamarea is partnering with Gere and his team, and that the actor and his crew will continue to run the inn and the yoga studio while Michael White and Co. will operate the restaurants. Altamarea Group has yet to confirm that it is involved with the Bedford Post Inn. But as you may recall, the Washington Post also floated the Westchester County rumor last week.
