El Toro Blanco's New Room; Mayanoki Sushi Pop-Up

WEST VILLAGE — John McDonald and Josh Capon are currently adding a private dining room space to El Toro Blanco, which they plan to have open by April. It will have space for 38 people, and McDonald tells Eater that the decor will be "club-like, with wood paneling, carpet, and vintage Mexican art/objects." WILLIAMSBURG — Brooklyn Oenology is hosting a pop-up sushi dinner on March 12, 13, 18 and 19. Mayanoki, a sushi supper club, will serve a sushi omakase dinner paired with a glass of Brooklyn Oenology's locally made wine.
