Death & Company Cocktail Domination Plan Rolls On

Death & Company honchos David Kaplan and Alex Day are in high speed growth mode. Just a few weeks after the launch of their bar beneath Schapiro's, Nitecap, the duo has apparently scooped up the space that currently houses 151 Bar with plans to open another classy cocktail den. According to plans submitted to Community Board 3, the new space will have room for 13 tables and 12 bar seats, with enough space for about 50 or so guests. For this project, Kaplan and Day are also bringing in their partners from their LA project Honeycut, and they hope to operate from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. seven days a week.
