Reichl, Lo, Bloomfield, and Cohen Participate in Jubilee

Yesterday, tons of female chefs and food writers participated in Cherry Bombe's first-ever Jubilee conference at The High Line Hotel. The goal of the event was to be "a celebration of women in the world of food" and to be a place for "conversation about the issues big and small that affect us, our loved ones, our colleagues, and our livelihoods." Ruth Reichl, April Bloomfield, Suzanne Goin, Mimi Sheraton, and Sara Kramer all spoke about topics ranging from culinary school to motherhood to entrepreneurialism. During a panel on the relationship between chefs and the media, Dirt Candy's Amanda Cohen remarked: "Put yourself out there, the more you put yourself out there, the more successful you're going to be ... Promote yourself as much as possible...Media makes your career now."
