The much-maligned IHOP on Carmine Street is a very troubled pancake house at the moment. While the two real estate firms that own the building and attached condos battle over DOB fines, resident lawsuits, and unpaid rent, last week the IHOP itself filed and then un-filed for bankruptcy in the course of a day. Despite this, and the recent "For Lease" signs, the restaurant remains open. [TRD]
