How Many Stars Will Pete Wells Give to All'onda?

In just a few hours, the world will know whether or not Pete Wells is a fan of All'onda, one of Manhattan's hottest new restaurants. Several Eater readers spotted the Times photographer in the dining room last week, and sources close to the restaurant send word that the team is bracing for the big review today. The Italian project from Jeffrey Chodorow, chef Chris Jaeckle, and Chris Cannon (aboard as a consultant) received two stars from Steve Cuozzo, three stars from Time Out New York, and a favorable review in the New Yorker. The foodie hordes also love this place. But will Pete Wells jump on the All'onda bandwagon?

Hard to say. Wells has a track record of gifting stars (plural) to fine Italian restaurants. But the Times critic is frequently underwhelmed by trendy new restaurants from big name chefs and restaurateurs (see here, here, here, here, here, here, and here). This one could fall anywhere from one to three stars. Place your bets on the star count below:
