Matthew Hechter and Chris Brandon, one half of the team behind Hudson Clearwater, the West Village restaurant with a well-hidden door, have a new restaurant in the works in Williamsburg. They've taken over the Wythe Avenue space that once housed the longstanding music venue Zebulon, and have plans to open what Hechter describes as a "Southern Atlantic inspired" restaurant. It doesn't have a name yet, but the restaurant is slated to open by the beginning of August.
In other Hudson Clearwater news, the restaurant just launched breakfast on weekdays from 7 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. The menu includes egg dishes, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and pastries.
