Luzzo's Wins The Ultimate New York City Pizza Bracket

After 13 rounds of voting, Luzzo's has officially won The Ultimate New York City Pizza Bracket. It beat out Joe's Pizza in the last heat with 1,182 votes, compared to 900 votes for the venerable Greenwich Village slice joint. Luzzo's was not one of the original 14 pizzerias on the bracket, but it was added in the wildcard slot after many, many people sent in recommendations, and nominated it in the comments. Congratulations to the Luzzo's team.The people rocking and rolling aboard the Eater Pizza Boat are enjoying some of the pizzeria's fine pies right now.
