Data gleaned from a couple of very basic Yelp searches suggest that there are around 1309 restaurants that serve calzones in the New York area, while somewhere around 9374 restaurants serve pizza. That means that roughly 14 percent of all pizza places also have calzones, assuming that not many restaurants offer only calzones and no pizza, and also keeping in mind that these estimates are extremely unscientific.
