The Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club has been serving disadvantaged children across the south Bronx for nearly a century. With 10 locations, they are able to serve over 11,000 children each day. On April 2nd, the inaugural Taste of Design event is going to try and serve back this incredible organization, and you're going to want to be there.
Going down at the Cave du Vin at Lafayette, the evening will have tastings from a bevy of all-star chefs: La Vara's Alex Raij, Dirt Candy's Amanda Cohen, Restaurant North's Eric Grabynowicz, General Assembly's Craig Koketsu, Union Square Cafe's Carmen Quagliata, and passed canapés by Andrew Carmellini.
To put the finishing touches on the evening, the city's leading interior designers will spiff up each chef's station with their personal style. And Tito's Handmade Vodka will be mixing up some specialty cocktails. All you have to do to get yourself to this spectacular evening is call 718-893-8600 or head here to purchase tickets online. Do join us in supporting an organization doing great things for this great city.
