Ladies and gentlemen, Eater readers of all ages, please inch a little closer to the computer screen for a special announcement. Starting right now and ending, oh, around 5 p.m. Friday, Eater will be your headquarters for all things pizza for this, our second-ever Eater Pizza Week. From the celebrated Neapolitan pizzerias to the better-than-average corner slice joints to the oddball pizza parlors that only Sietsema knows about, we will leave no pizza stone left unturned. There will be maps, guides, lists, photos, videos, interviews, polls, and oh so very much more.
But we can't do it alone — we need your help. On Friday, we will be exploring the weird world of pizza delivery. If you have an amusing/disturbing pizza delivery story, please send that to the tipline. And, starting later today, we will need your help picking the greatest pizzeria in New York, via voting in a Final Four-style bracket.
As you go about the city this week, keep your eyes peeled for the big red Eater E. If you see this, along with several people wearing Eater T-shirts, that means that you've stumbled upon Eater's pop-up pizza party. The exact coordinates of this totally free beer and pizza bacchanal will remain a complete mystery until the very second when the party begins. So keep an eye out, and stay tuned for more details.
