The 14th Street building that housed the Blarney Cove is being demolished, but thankfully, one of the bar's longtime fans now has its iconic sign. A gentleman by the name of Dave asked the construction workers to remove the sign from the building as it was being gutted, and then he hauled it home. Apparently a stranger on the street offered to buy it from him for $200, but Dave declined. [EV Grieve]
